1. Our Business 
‍Lilac Howell is a UK-based video production company working across corporate, theatrical, government and charitable sectors. We produce creative content including live-streamed events, promotional films, documentaries and internal communications.

2. Our Commitment 
‍We operate with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. We uphold the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and expect the same standards from our suppliers, freelancers, subcontractors, and partners. 

3. Supply Chain 
‍While our supply chain is relatively small and largely UK-based, we remain vigilant. It includes freelance creatives, crew, locations, equipment hire, post-production services, and specialist contractors. We aim to work only with trusted providers who share our values and operate ethically. 

4. Due Diligence 
‍We take the following steps to identify and prevent modern slavery: Where appropriate, we vet suppliers and freelancers before engaging them. We reserve the right to end relationships with individuals or companies if we suspect unethical or exploitative practices. We maintain a whistleblowing policy encouraging staff and collaborators to report concerns confidentially. 

5. Staff and Freelancers 
‍We ensure all staff and freelancers working with us: 

• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Are paid fairly and promptly, in line with agreed terms.
• Work voluntarily and in safe conditions.

6. Training and Awareness 
‍Although we are a small organisation, we promote awareness among our team about the risks of modern slavery. Where appropriate, we ensure our staff understand how to recognise and report concerns.
